As 2020 draws to a close we are left contemplating a year like never before. Our worlds have been turned upside down and life as we know it has been left behind. For many, life feels chaotic with constant change and very little stability. Like many businesses, we have had to adapt to keep up with all of these changes and it has been hard work, but we can see some positive changes too. We have introduced online classes and these have worked really well...so much so, we are going to keep some of them, even when we can get back to our venues. COVID Secure Pilates Classes

It is understandable that some people might feel worried about attending a Pilates class right now. We want to make sure people can get the maximum benefits of exercise in a safe way and we want you to feel confident when you come along. We have implemented the Government guidance so that we deliver our Pilates classes in a COVID secure way, to do this we: Secured venues with plenty of space - each person has a 3m2 area in which to work. Mat based exercise programmes which means you remain socially distanced. Santise our mats before and after every session. Provide hand gel and anti-bacterial wipes. Ventilate the space, keeping doors and windows open. Take temperatures of all class participants before class to ensure everyone is safe to exercise. We provide a QR code for the track and trace system. We keep a record of attendees so that we can contact people if test and trace contact us. New Wednesday afternoon classes starting in September

We are really pleased to add a new class to our agenda. Starting September 30th 2020, we will be holding a class at Ferndale Baptist Church on North Avenue, Southend-on-Sea. Ferndale Baptist Church has a lovely hall located on North Avenue (between Bournemouth Park Road and Hamstel Road). The hall offers parking, accessible from Ferndale Road and a large bright space to ensure our classes are safe and socially distanced. The class is perfect for parents who want to attend before picking the children up from school or those who would like a mid-afternoon workout.
